Mac OS Sierra has been out about five months now. If your hardware supports it, you should install it.
It's faster, it sets the stage for improved security and file safety and allows better synchronization between Mac and IOS devices.

- Users of Fujitsu's incomparable ScanSnap scanners were stymied by a bug — now fixed — that screwed up some PDFs
- Users of Quicken Essentials were thrown off the boat. The new owner dropped support for Essentials and users need to upgrade (for a fee, of course) to Quicken 2017.
